Unlike many sash window suppliers’ wares, an Original Box Sash window doesn’t just look like the real thing; it is the real thing, a solid hardwood window just like your originals would have been and that’s why we’ll give you a lifetime guarantee on any frame, as opposed to the standard 10-year deal.
We follow traditional methods to obtain a perfect fit and smooth operation. Faithful to the original way of doing things, we’ll only ever use solid hardwood; our choice is an African hardwood (Indigbo) which looks just like oak, is moisture and termite-resistant, easier to work with and lasts for a lifetime.
Now that we’ve been using our hardwood for more than 40 years, we can safely say that it’s proven its worth. So we’ll never compromise on quality or use treated softwood alternatives that could cause your sash windows to fail the test of time or result in expensive maintenance bills.
