“I’m very pleased to have chosen Box Sash. The company delivers a great quality product, coupled with expert installation and great service.”
A repeat customer of Box Sash, David couldn’t be happier with the company’s bespoke sash windows, paying credit to the the quality of the windows themselves, and the service he received.
Over the last 15 years, David has chosen Box Sash for three separate window installations on two London properties – a large house in Chelsea and a semi-detached villa in Bayswater.
As the first property was being completely renovated, David chose to get all the original windows replaced at once. 14 years later, at his new home, he opted for a staggered approach, saying,
“As having your original sash windows replaced is a significant investment, I decided to undertake the work in stages.
“Last year, I had all the sash windows on the top floor – roughly eight of them – replaced with bespoke Box Sash windows. This year, I’ve had a further five units replaced, including two very large French doors.”
Back in 2001, John came across Box Sash while shopping around for sash window quotes. Recalling the decision-making process, he commented simply:
“I asked several companies for quotes; Box Sash had the best quality product and offered good value for money.”
David’s initial impressions on Box Sash, and the company’s range of bespoke timber windows and doors, was to be a lasting one. The high level of performance offered by the windows at his previous address brought him back to the company when he decided to update the original timber windows at his new home.
While the property and the windows were in good shape, the glazing was only singlepaned. So, once again, David contacted Box Sash and arranged for the company to craft bespoke windows and doors for his property.
He decided to stagger the installation and Box Sash was only too happy to oblige, fitting the top windows in 2015 and returning to replace the downstairs windows and French doors in September, 2016.
As ever, Box Sash endeavoured to minimise the impact of the installation process at the customer property, manufacturing David’s bespoke sash windows at its specialist facility in Wales before transporting them, ready for installation, to London.
Speaking about the installation process, David said:
“The order went through in six weeks, and the installation only took three days. The process has been highly professional every time – the installers are very thorough and efficient, and the work was of very high quality.”
Asked if he’d recommend the company to others, David was full of praise.
“The quality of Box Sash’s work is outstanding from start to finish. The windows make an enormous difference to my home in terms of temperature control, noise abatement and security. I recommend the company and their product without hesitation.”
