1. Timber Sash Windows
Only quality solid hardwoods are used in our manufacturing. No laminate timbers. These hardwoods are FSC certified giving not only traceability, sustainability and durability but also a beautiful appearance which will grace any property for many years to come. Solid wood lasts longer.
2. Bespoke Manufacturing
All our windows and doors are all expertly handcrafted using traditional mortice and tenon joints. Our highly skilled tradesmen create individual bespoke products with the detail and quality our customers have grown to expect during our extensive years of trading.
3. Paint Finish
All our windows and doors are factory spray painted providing complete protection from moisture absorption. Three coats of primer/blocker are applied prior to two top coats. All paints used are top quality micro-porous water based paints. No harmful chemicals are used in any paint process. Colours are available on request.
4. Double Glazed Units
We make all our double glazed units which incorporate a 4mm K glass S high performance, low emissivity soft coated glass. When incorporated with our 6.8mm Optiphon (noise reduction) glass, this gives an excellent thermal rated energy care unit. We are proud to be a partner of Pilkington’s efficient energy scheme. Producing our own glazed units enables us to ensure the highest quality of every aspect of our products.
All our windows and doors are glazed internally to prohibit intruders from gaining entry by removing glass. All units are rebated into timber sections using a low modulus clear silicone. This ensures a perfect bond between timber and glass and eliminates any water penetration.
All our windows and doors come with an option of internal glazing beads, lambs tongue or ovlo. Sizes vary on dimension of the windows. A glazing bar option is available, this gives the appearance of a multi-glazed window.
All our windows and doors comply with current Government regulations. They are gas filled using either Krypton or Argon to give the most beneficial U Values available.
8. Optical Clarity
Optiwhite toughened glass units are available for replacement sashes into existing box sash windows. This glass is often referred to as Jeweller’s Glass as it gives the clearest clarification of all units in this range.
All our windows and doors are fitted with a choice of multipoint locking mechanisms, these can include traditional deadlocks, mortice sash-locks and night-latches. Our casement windows also come with locking handles, locking stays and window locks for added security.
