Box Sash – also known as The Original Box Sash Windows Company – was founded in 1979. As a proud local family business, we quickly made a name for ourselves by offering high quality products and exceptional, personal service to every one of our customers.
By 1987, we were able to establish our own production facility in Merthyr Tydfil to help us meet demand for our beautifully crafted timber windows and doors. Since that time, we have invested in continuous research and development, helping to ensure that our bespoke products – and the people who create and install them – exceed expectations every time.
While more than 30 years have passed since we began supplying traditional timber windows and doors, our commitment to quality and service remains unchanged. From the moment you meet with our certified surveyor to the completion of your installation, we will do our utmost to ensure the results are to your complete satisfaction.
Our dedicated aftercare service – which includes a lifetime parts guarantee – is our way of demonstrating that, while your project may be finished, our responsibility to you as our customer is not. We offer a first year’s no-quibble adjustment service on all products, and are always on hand to advise you in the event of any questions.

Book a free design visit with us, and one of our named surveyors will arrange to call on you at a convenient time in order to discuss your requirements. With a minimum of 14 years’ experience in the industry, your local surveyor will answer any questions you have and give you a detailed quote for your property.
We will keep you well informed throughout the installation process, preparing as much as possible in our joinery works before work begins, so the disruption to you is kept to a minimum.
