Bespoke Front Doors are built in hardwood by our craftsmen using traditional skills and only the very best of materials The doors are manufactured to individual specification and will, with minimal care and attention, last indefinitely. Original moulded profiles, traditional mortice and tenon joints, solid brass, chrome or black hinges and fittings all combine to offer a Door of unrivalled quality.

What’s the point of replacing my front door ?

Can you replace it to look the same as the existing one ? Yes. Will a new door be as secure ? More so. We use British Standards high quality locks and fittings. Any glazing is safety/security glass and fitted from the inside. Will I get better warmth ? Yes, there is an optional perimeter air-seal integral to the door frame, which is really effective in keeping out the cold.

Why use hardwood ?

Softwood needs to be treated with chemical preservative. No-one really knows the long tern effects of this is a domestic environment. Why take a chance when beautiful hardwood is so readily available from sustainable sources ?

How long will my new door take to fit ?

The surveyor can give you an approximation, but we need to start the installation on site before we know for certain. Every house, every window/door is different. CLICK HERE.

Will my new door be guaranteed ?

Yes, for your lifetime. The first ten years after installation are covered by IWA insurance (included in the price).

Will there be more or less of an opening ?

About the same. To make a seal on four sides, a cill section on the frame will be included.

Will a new door maintain the value of my house ?

Period and character houses hold their prices better than modern ones. In today’s market, keeping up maintenance in a profession way, and re-placing modern features with ones authentic to the original design, is the way to maximise value.

How much will these Front Doors cost ?

It depends on many factors, for example:

The size and type of the door/s that you would like to replace.

The level of service you choose.

The age of your house, and if there are obstacles to overcome by our installers, e.g. structural.
